Circular Value Chain Partnership
Boosting the uptake of secondary raw materials into the economy will require Circular Value Chain Partnerships that connect the waste management sector with industrial production. In particular, the Partnerships will need to base themselves on two major principles:
- The establishment of large-scale and effective separate collection systems, where public authorities (in the case of municipal waste), waste producers and waste collectors cooperate on the basis of clear obligations and responsibilities
- Concerted action between the waste management sector, industrial production and product or service design.
EU-Funded Projects and Partner Platforms
At FEAD, we believe that exchanging knowledge and working with key stakeholders is essential to effectively leveraging our expertise and achieving our goals. That’s why we actively participate in EU-funded projects on specific topics and collaborate with various partner platforms to drive progress in the waste management and resource recovery sector.
