FEAD, the European Waste Management Association would like to cordially invite you to our in-person event on the 6th of July, focused on:
How to make the circular economy work? A new alliance between the waste management sector and the manufacturing industry
FEAD is bringing together experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to explore how the EU institutions can enhance Member States’ performance in achieving circular economy targets, with a focus on the potential role of a new alliance between the waste management and manufacturing industries.
The event will start with a 20-minute presentation of the recently published Early Warning Report (EWR) from the Commission’s Director of Circular Economy, Aurel Ciobanu-Dordea, and a short overview of the Commission’s actions and plans. A first panel discussion will follow, featuring high-level experts from the public and private sectors and dedicated to the necessary actions of the EU institutions to boost the circular economy. A second panel will address the potential role of an alliance between the waste management and manufacturing industries and concluding, FEAD will unveil its vision for the future of the waste management industry.
