FEAD Policy recommendations | Circular Economy Act

FEAD is proud to present its 10 policy recommendations for the upcoming Circular Economy Act. Building on the expertise of our members across Europe, these proposals aim to ensure the Act is robust, actionable, and truly supports a competitive and sustainable circular economy.

Our sector plays a dual role: providing an essential public service that protects health and the environment, while enabling Europe’s circular economy by recovering materials, producing energy, and reducing reliance on virgin resources.

In our recommendations, we call on the European Commission to go beyond critical raw materials and lay the foundations for a strong circular economy that enhances Europe’s strategic autonomy, supports local industry, and creates jobs.
