FEAD online workshop: Ecotoxicity (HP14) Test Methods – Navigating EU experiences

FEAD held a free online workshop on the Ecotoxicity (HP 14) Test Methods on 30 June 2020. 

The workshop showed different experiences on test methods to evaluate and classify waste as ecotoxic under the E.U. Waste Framework Directive.

Annex III of the WFD defines HP 14 as “waste which presents or may present immediate or delayed risks for one or more sectors of the environment.”

The speakers came from different E.U. Member States and from across a variety of sectors and illustrated their approaches to HP 14 testing.
